I am pretty sure the old K6STI yagi optimizer program allowed for tapered element lengths. It was pretty decent program, at the time, for designing yagi antennas. I am not sure if it is even available these days. Pete Opps, see others have mentioned it as well. Consider my comments a small voice in the crowd. Changed Antenna temperature tool nomenclature to be as per Rainer Bertelsmeier's Effective Noise Temperatures of 4-Yagi-Arrays for 432 MHz EME in DUBUS 4/87. Added a number of other possible element material types such as 6063-T832, and 6061-T6 Aluminium alloys as per common usage. Yagi Optimizer - YO Yagi Optimizer by K6STI is an old MSDOS based antenna modelling software that has been very popular among ham radio community. YO.exe is still today used to optimize Yagi. I have searched the net for weeks to try to buy a copy without success. Even sent a couple of emails to Brian Beezley K6STI, but unfortunately, no replies. Simone, can you advise me how I can obtain a copy of YO7 or later please. I would appreciate this very much. Thank You, 73 Daryl VK3ADR. As of maintenance release v2.0.25 AutoEZ can read files created by the DXE Yagi Mechanical program (YM, file type.stm); the K7NV Yagi Stress program (YS, file type.ys2); the K6STI Yagi Optimizer program (YO, file type.yag); and the N6BV Yagi for Windows program (YW, file type.yw).
